UPFA tops Weligama

The UPFA had topped the Weligama Urban Council in the Matara District with seven seats obtaining 7,246 votes at the Local Government Election, 2011. The main opposition UNP obtained 3,622 votes with 3 seats, while SLMC has obtained 353 votes and JVP 164 votes.
