Former LTTE women’s wing leader Siva Subramanium Sivahami alias Thamilini was released from the Poonthotam Rehabilitation Centre in Vavuniya, Rehabilitation Commissioner General Dharshana Hettiarchchi said.
Sources close to Thamilini said she was likely to contest the Northern Provincial Council elections in September on the UPFA ticket.
