If anyone was wondering how Gota kept Colombo clean this is how he just dumped trash here

There is absolutely no need to blame Gota or anyone else. This has been happening from time immemorial and has reached the unbearable peak now.Proper waste management is an imperative responsibility of all concerned authorities be it the local government or national government. What is at stake is the health of citizen be they live at Meethotamulla or Katharagama or Madhu.

Now a days people are striking for car permits bonus and all the benefits. These people are protesting for fresh air for their families. The stink when you pass this area is unbearable. It is unfair for these people to bear this burden every day and night. This garbage dump has reached the height of a mountain which could be seen when you pass this area. Who is going to pay for health hazard people facing in this area? Definitely the doctors who strike for car permits and other benefits are not going to alert the authorities concerned. to look into this matter.

Garbage dump is also a health hazard. Why the government is unable to incinerate garbage and produce fertilizer and electricity. It will give employment as well.
