Gnanasara Thera surrenders

Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) General Secretary Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera, who was issued an arrest warrant, surrendered to the Homagama Police a short while ago, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.

Homagama Magistrate yesterday issued the arrest warrant on the prelate on charges of contempt of court and the disruption of court proceedings. ASP Gunasekara said the prelate was not yet arrested. (Muditha Dayananda)
