They said Mr. Perera had excused himself on the grounds that he had some urgent matters to attend to but assured he would come to the police station tomorrow.

Kosgoda police said if he did not come to the station by tomorrow he would be arrested in this connection.

What is important is not AML'S urgent matter, the complain of the matter to the police. If it is some other normal person it will be no matter police will be behind the matter. It makes to understand the matter is taking time to make some arrangements to influence and escape the matter. Will the police will excuse for others also for any matter ?????
