If you guys don't know Mr Palitha Fernando, I humbly ask you to refrain from commenting. He is one of the most respected persons in the field of law in SL. Plus he is one hell of a lecturer and a true gentleman.

if so he should have refrained from accepting this post as the independence of the AG's Dept. as been compromised by bringing it under the President's Office.

At a time the law and order is not prevailing in the country the new AG has been appointed by the President. Will see how is he behave and work under the Executive Presidency system.
