The other provinces in the country have been discriminated as the North and East which has only 13% of Sri Lanka’s population has been allocated 25% of the Capital Expenditure (CE), Chief Government Whip Nimal Siripala de Silva said in parliament today. (KB/YP)

Minister is talking about capital expenditure, not recurrent expenditure. We need to make Economics a compulsory subject in O/L.
Anyway N&E should get 50% of CE 25% not enough.

What is the population in Hambonthota and how come there is a Massive Harbor and another project going on for an International airport,etc...etc....
