The Muslim leaders who promoted secularism, except one all others lost. Naraendra Modi was a dynamic leader,He was marketable as a Strong, Kind, humble tea seller,to take India forward, unlike ManMohan Sing a weak leader for a mighty Nation, People wanted a Strong leader, Development of Congress was never seen as a strong selling point, since it was mixed with high level corruption. All this was guided by the free Media with so much democracy, Few leafs for our people on all parties. Truth will prevail and all shame will come out some day...

If only upstanding gentlemen of Sri Lanka step up to politics. Current state of affairs is such that we can't trust anyone to be honest in the current parliament. Everyone is a selfish, cut throat who is looking to make money for themselves rather than help people. It's a case of pot calling the kettle black at present. We are a condemned nation unless something major happens in the political arena..

Try to understand that everything is temporary. The writing is on the wall for MR and his rogues. Look at these names - Ferdinand and /Emelda Marcos, Benazir Bhutto, Richard Nixon,Pervez Musharraf, Saddam Hussein, Gaddafi (MR's mango friend). All these have fallen from grace, so, MR is also on the waiting list.

Sarath Fonseka has put his foot in his mouth again. the BJP won on a wave of Hindu Nationalism or Hindutva. If Sri Lanka were to follow India's example then the Sri Lankan nationalist movement should produce a person who can lead Sri Lanka to a "Buddhist" oriented future.
