A woman has lodged a compliant to the Suriyawewa police that an unknown gang had kidnapped her businessman husband and that a ransom of Rs. 1 million was paid for his release.

She had made a complaint, that her husband was kidnapped on the 3rd of March and that of Rs. 1 million was paid to the kidnappers to guarantee her husbands safe release. (Ariyarathna Kodithuwakku )
