Because that is the easiest place to enter and Australians are so stupid and gullible. These well trained terrorist knows and are prepared to torture themselves. This strategy cannot work in other countries because most people know the game plan. Believing is not investigation. They breed on lies and don't understand truth. Well more to learn. They will form groups in temples and churches, infiltrate all government and private sectors and eventually create and fund another war in Sri Lanka using the Australians. Happening with the Muslims.
