Couple killed in Pulmudai

An old couple was found dead inside their house after been slashed to death by an unidentified group this morning in Mahasenpura, Pulmudai. The police was informed by the residents of the area after they were found dead in their living room. The police said the victims were aged between 70-80 years.
No suspects have being arrested so far and the Pulmudai police are investigating into the incident. The Magisterial inquiry was conducted and the bodies are to be sent to the Pulmudai Hospital for the post mortem. (SD)
