Boat saga continues; another 103 nabbed

The Sri Lanka Navy intercepted three boats carrying illegal migrants last night; one in Trincomalee and two in Negombo.A total of 103 persons were arrested and handed over tothe police for investigationsIn the boat intercepted in Trincomalee there were 34 persons while the two intercepted in Negombo were carry carrying 25 (11 ) and 44 ) in each.
Police and THE CID will conduct further investigations.
The joint action by the forces, police and the coastguards will continue, the Navy said. (SD)

Why are these people running away from the "Miracle of Asia" to the "Lucky Country" Downunder"?.Probably they don't believe in miracles anymore and have virtually given up through frustration.Nothing much seems to have changed since independence except that life is getting harder and harder by the day for the people of Sri Lanka..They are even prepared to sacrifice their lives for a better future in this beautiful country.

Where do they keep all these arrested people. They are being arrested by the boatloads of 30-40 basically everyday.
