Another boat with Lankans intercepted

One boat carrying 123 passengers was found east of Christmas Island while the second sailed directly to Cocos Island from Sri Lanka with 36 people on board.Passengers on the Sri Lankan boat will be flown to Christmas Island for processing, with two charter planes in the past week moving other asylum seekers from Cocos Island.
In just over three weeks this month, 1278 people have arrived on boats. In the past 10 days, the Immigration Department has spent almost $500,000 flying asylum seekers to detention centres around the country. More than 5100 asylum seekers have been flown off Christmas Island this year to prevent overcrowding.
One flight with Adagold Aviation between Christmas Island and Darwin cost $179,500, a government contract notice revealed. Another with company Alltrans between a detention centre at Curtin, near Derby in WA, and Perth cost $160,902 while an Adagold flight from Darwin to a detention centre at Scherger, near Weipa in North Queensland, cost $127,418. These people are nothing but economic migrants. They come to Australia, not because of the fear of persecution but because of the greener pastures. Millions of people try to cross borders everyday for the same reason. I am sure you would too, if you could.

Because many vacancies for toilet cleaners, hard labour jobs available in OZ. Even they stay in SL cannot find like that job.

Two hundreds years ago Euope went by boat. Now Sri Lankan are leaving the land which called 'Pear of the Indian Ocean' . People in Sri Lanka except some politicians and their gangs enjoy the weath of the people of the Sri Lanka and trasfer their money and their family to rich nations of the world by plane . If this govermnet goes another government will come and make their family all right . All the politicions have been doing since independent . The country is going poorer and poorer , they don't care! One of the worst third word countryin the world . Brainwashed the poor people using the religions and languages and getting the power. Sorry for the people in Sri Lanka who don't enjoy the wealth, Time to leave the poor sri lankan search food in another country eventhough they don't care of the death in sea as it is not safe to travel. Part of the survival as people do anything ! sad to see ......what is happening to Sri Lankan Citizen.
