Toll of Covid-19 cases climbs to 1,558

The total number of Covid-19 cases in Sri Lanka has increased to 1,558, the Epidemiology Unit said.

It said 28 people tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday.

Among them, 17 are Navy personnel and 11 are returnees from foreign countries.

    No point in counting corona when more and more are brought in already infected with it and the spread is still not controlled amongst the navy/army
