SL police team wins Police Cricket World Cup

The Sri Lanka Police Cricket team won the 6th Police Cricket World Cup at the International Police T20 Cricket Carnival that was held in England, Police Media Spokesman said.

The Sri Lankan team beat the Western Australia Police team at the finals held on Saturday in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, UK.

Nine police teams from around the world participated in the 20 over format of the game including Worcester, NYPD, Toronto, New South Wales (Australia), Western Australia, Sri Lanka, Royal Military Police, Kent and a team from the rest of the world (including players from UK, Antigua, ROI and NI).

    SL Police always had good cricketers!!! Because they promote the game well !!! Even some great Rugby players too!!!
