A female principal of a leading school in Embilipitiya has been arrested by the Bribery Commission officials for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 150,000 to admit a child to the school.
The principal allegedly solicited the bribe to enrol a child to the Grade 1 for the year 2021.
The principal was arrested following a complaint received by the Bribery Commission.
She would be produced before the Embilipitiya Magistrate's Court.
