A great leader indeed! A good example for those who want all the pageants, bells and whistles even for opening a bridge. Cutting down on government expenditure should be done at any cost. Wothin one year, SL will be a much better place.

Your Excellency is becoming a model par excellence for all of us to emulate. You attire is normal etc and you prefer everything to be done without any show-off. I do really appreciate your minimalistic approach.

Good step. Country doesn't want show off. We need action and commitment. Gota is doing the right thing. Keep the independent day celebrations to a low key event. Can we really celebrate being independent. We are more dependent on foreign loans than ever before.
