President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa have received the Astra-Zeneca COVISHIELD vaccine, Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said today.
He said this when responding to a question raised by a journalist at a media briefing held this morning to announce the cabinet decisions.

Nothing wrong with vaccinating the president and the prime minister to keep the government continuing. US president and vice president were both vaccinated immediately after assuming office.
