The Head-office of the Perpetual Treasuries Limited (PTL) located at the Parkland building in Colombo 2 is being searched by the CID, CID sources said a short while ago.
The CID searched the office after obtaining a search warrant from the Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court.(DS)

Why now? A case of closing the gate after the horse has bolted ! Gave them enough time to move evidence, wont be surprised if ALL hard disks n phone records are erased/deleted...MONEY TALKS...IF 118 politicians in the current parliament could be BOUGHT by this company...they could move mountains in SL...

Are the horses still there or have they bolted. Why took you so long to search the stable - may be till some documents incriminating the powerful already removed.

Closing the barn door after the horse has escaped. What a farce. What the CID is looking for has probably been removed long long ago - like looking for a needle in a haystack.
