Wine and liquor shops across the country can be operated under strict guidelines while all pubs, bars, casinos, night clubs, will remain closed until October 31 considering the prevailing pandemic situation, the Ministry of Health said.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry, wine and liquor shops, hotels, rest houses and guest houses could be operated under strict guidelines, which means service providers and recipients should be restricted to less than 50 per cent of capacity with strong adherence to health guidelines.
It also said betting centres and spas across the country would remain closed until October 31 apart from pubs, bars, casinos and night clubs.
Meanwhile, it said the time period was not applicable to the high risk areas and areas which are under lockdown.
