Katukurunda boat tragedy: Two more bodies found

Two more bodies of a 25-year-old man and a 7-year-old child, who went missing in the Katukurunda boat tragedy, were recovered in Beruwala and Balapitiya seas early this morning.

Police said the body of the man, a resident of Karandagoda in Beruwala, was found in Maradana beach in Beruwala while the body of the child, a resident of Payagala, was found in Balapitiya Sea.

The death toll of the Katukurunda boat tragedy had risen to fourteen with the recovery of the two bodies while two other people were still missing. (Darshana Sanjeewa)
