Better to keep the WP closed for a few days more because it seems that situation is worsening with more and more deaths are being reported from homes sending alarms still covid 19 infected still at large.

Is your grandfather going to run the economy and give our children to eat and pay our house rents and bank loans and utility bills? You must be someone earning a monthly salary I guess.

How come very few died at the beginning of the pandemic when the treatment was uncertain and now more deaths after knowing the pathophysiology of Covid 19.

I think the increased deaths are due to increase in the number of cases. Starting on high dose vitamin D3, 10 thousand units on day one and two followed by three thousand units daily for 28 days, will prevent most of these deaths. Also Dexamethasone 6 mg daily for 10 days should be provided to all ICU patients to reduce the mortality by 30 percent.

The President should have the balls to address the nation because what has happened is a criminal act involving India and the Brandix. We are facing the biggest threat since the LTTE terrorists were destroyed in 2009. The biology of the virus currently circulating is different from what we have had so far, which is perplexing.

I have noticed several people dying at home. Patients with covid-19 pneumonia, may not experience shortness of breath despite having a severe pneumonia and may decide to stay home rather than going to hospital. This could explain the several deaths at home. A pulse oximeter, if available can detect oxygen saturation and prevent these deaths. The pulse oximeter is available on Amazon for about about 30 thousand rupees. The government should provide these instruments to all health care workers. It takes less than 5 minutes to learn how to use it and police officers and others who work in the community should carry one.

Oximeters are just Indian Rupees 2000 in their Amazon. Our people were never given proper medical advice. Pity the victims. RIP.

Innocent lives, who is responsible for this situation, stop talking please resolve.

Deaths may be aggravated by isolation and starvation as well lack of medical care, There is a possibility in the absence of tests on the community the infected persons are very much more. Therefore it may be better to open the WP for normal life but prevent movement out of it and treat non critical patients at home by a mixture of ayurvedic and western through visits and online communication. It may be too late to prevent spreading of infection in WP but immunity and resistance may be increased.

Sachi Kuhanathan MD, please don’t try to tell us as if you have a solution to this crisis, all what you say is accessible from internet whether they are facts or fiction. The crux of the matter is the doctors have no scientific understanding of this problem, and the whole world is waiting for the Scientists to come up with the vaccine. In the West not hundreds but thousands are dying in the so called “Prestigious Hospitals “ and the doctors are hopelessly clueless to stop the deaths. This Covid tragedy has e posed the doctors as “ ARTIFICIALLY HYPED UP SIMPLETONS WHO HAVE FOOLED US AS EXPERTS “.
