A protest was carried out by a group of parents of the Anula Vidyalaya, Nugegoda this morning against the newly appointed Western Province Governor, who had allegedly forcibly opened the private Sunday school situated at the Vidyalaya premises yesterday.

An official of the school told the Daily Mirror that the Principal had no issue in having the Sunday school inside the school premises as long as it was under her purview.

“Since the Sunday school is maintained by a businessman at his own discretion, several properties of the school should be considered misappropriated,” she said.

The result of the President appointing an unsuitable person to the post of Governor. He was also responsible for forcibly evicting 2 tenants who had been residing at Haig Road, Bambalapitiya by using his thugs some about 3 to 5 months ago.

A person with 532 votes in recent CMC Elections, and couldn't secure place in CMC has a elected member. Out if the blue when he was appointed as a Governer of Western Pronvice, he has to do something to attract the media to have a cheap publicity. In short bankcrupt Politician struggling for his survival.
