Remanded just one day after killing a cop? Hilarious!
Joshua Sunday, 14 June 2020 05:32 PM
May the PC rest in Peace and may the defender driver spend rest of his life behind bars. But rein? why is the driver remanded only till tomorrow? Will political influence rein?

Just as I smelt it, here It goes. Why was this guy arrested at the time of the accident. In Sri Lanka we do not have one law. I do not know how many. Time to send this government packing even before the unpack.

Oh these jeppas. Crying even after the arrest is been done. Do they want the arrest to happen even before the accident?

Victims and their families of these accidents will never face the justice. Defendants will elude the criminal offense laws by using their political influence.

Country has gone to dogs. Both parties encouraged corruption
Citizen Sunday, 14 June 2020 06:53 PM
Accident has taken place on 11th June, and arrest of the driver of the killer vehicle made only on 14th June (the day the victim police constable died ) NO EXPLANATION FROM POLICE FOR DELAY IN ARREST IN ACCIDENT THAT HAD TAKEN PLACE IN COLOMBO NOT SOME REMOTE AREA?
Leo Monday, 15 June 2020 09:24 AM
Lol, you have to track down the vehicle, the owner and his whereabouts. 3 days to do all these is actually quite efficient. No wonder jeppas can't progress beyond 3%.

what a terrible blow to both young men. One was applauded for catching a thief and would have had a shining career, and one was from a sporting background and already on the road to success. Drinking and Driving is just utter stupidity
Piola fernando Sunday, 14 June 2020 08:38 PM
The driver was not drunk wait for facts and then comment
CITIZEN Sunday, 14 June 2020 08:00 PM
WAS HE THE ACTUAL DRIVE OF THE VEHICLE???? OR A COVER UP
Charlie Almeida Tuesday, 16 June 2020 03:44 PM
Should be a cover up. The police confirmed the driver was drunk.
Mohan Sunday, 14 June 2020 08:10 PM
If you watch the cctv footage closely you can see that the cop turned abruptly into the wrong lane. Poor boy is going to be Penalized and criticized for a cops mistake, just like what is happening in the above comments.
