A Covid-19 infected person from Atulugama, Bandaragama has spat on the face of a PHI who attempted to transfer the patient for medical treatment, police said.
Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said when the area PHI had visited the inmate in order to transfer him to a treatment centre , he had refused to cooperate.
"At that time, the man had spat on the face of the PHI. The police has initiated an investigation into this incident. The charges against the person would be obstructing duties of a government officer," he said.
He said police will take stern action against such individuals. "If a person refuses treatment or PCR test, that particular person would be considered as a traitor. Therefore, police will take stern action against such persons, “ he said.

That person should be charged with attempted murder. He does not like hospital then the best place for him is the Prison. What a bunch of fools we gave in our country , thanks to the useless education, useless government teachers. They are responsible for not creating better persons for the society. The teachers don't even teach their subjects properly, that is why students have to spend another Rs 5000 a month (minimum) for tuition. Sad situation. Shame on you teachers.

Its quite shocking to see how many people are ok with extrajuicial killings, beatings torture etc. You may want it for the other but once that becomes the norms, it wont be long before it visits you.com So be careful what you wish for others.
