Court re-issues arrest warrant on Mahendran

The Colombo Fort Magistrate’s Court today re-issued an arrest warrant on former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran as the prosecution is currently working on getting the red notices from Interpol.

The first arrest warrant was issued on March 15 because Mr. Mahendran failed to turn up to the CID inquiry over the Central Bank bond scam. (SCS)

I think one arrest warrant should suffice... at least for normal citizens. But I guess this guy is abnormal!

Arrest warrant by a Kangaroo courts has no merits they have to keep re-issuing till the printer is out of ink.

First a warrant should be issued to the person gave employment to mahendran knowingly he holds a foreign pass port secondly the moment the fraud was detected he was allowed to go out of Sri Lanka

Why this respectable man with a lot of friends in high positions run away from courts,even Ravi said recently no wrong happened,if he is not coming on his own will then people who recruited him and officials who did not confiscate his pass port must responsible
