The Executive Committee of the Ceylon Workers’ Congress (CWC) has decided to back the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) presidential candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, its leader Arumugan Thondaman said.
He said the CWC had discussions with UNF presidential candidate Sajith Premadasa and SLPP candidate Gotabhaya Rajapaksa on issues affecting the plantation sector and then came to the stance of backing Mr Rajapaksa. (Ranjith Rajapaksa)

Parasite of CWC. What matters is his goodwill - not the workers. Thankfully -members you still have a chance as SP will not forget you.

Wrong decision. Thondaman has forgotten the atrocities carried out against innocent Tamil people by the Rajapakse regime in the past. He is misleading the Estate Tamils. Tamils should rise up against him and vote for Sajith, who will address their issues when he becomes the President.
