if smoking joints is legalized, this will probably stop people from over doing it, when we are asked not to do something is when we go and try to over do it and end up being addicted, look at Amsterdam perfectly under control.....

It would be good to legalize or decriminalize cannabis in a Buddhist country where relaxation and peacefulness should be encouraged.

IRONIC ! AT A TIME WHEN WE ARE TRYING TO PROMOTE LOCAL PRODUCTS, WHY DESTROY THEM WHEN THE DEALERS PAY EXHORBITANT SUMS TO SMUGGLE NARCOTICS INTO THE COUNTRY AND EQUALLY EXHORBITANT PRICES CHARGED IN SELLING THEM TO LOCALS . IF THE COUNTRY CAN OFFICIALLY ADOPT GAMING 'LAS VEGAS' STYLE, WHY NOT THIS ?

Calistus Jayatilleke Monday, 08 November 2010 03:18 AM

    "Api Wawamu......"

    Hasiya Monday, 08 November 2010 08:29 AM

    Good idea!

    RanFerdi Monday, 08 November 2010 04:02 AM

Why not legalize cannabis?? It has lot of advantageous, We save foreign exchange by adopting local drugs. Then Its health effects are lower than normal cigar considering the amount taken daily - some smoke 10-20 cigar a day better take one or two ganja. Take into example some American cities, Canada & UK who has legalize this. By doing this we can bring more tourists (Effect will be similar to casinos) Not only that by regulating this we can earn some good money by exporting to the countries who had legalize this. At last there should be strict restrictiion underage access to this and whoever wants this let them do it guilt free...

We are promoting gambling, why not cannabis?

    Invictusrilankan Monday, 08 November 2010 04:44 AM

Poor Bugger! He has just taken the initiative to heart and decided to do his part as a responsible Sri Lankan with the 'Api Wavamu: Rata Hadamu' concept. In this day and age where everyone is saying 'BUY SRILANKAN' it is indeed ironic that this guy is persecuted for doing his patriotic duty ;o)

Mad Boy Monday, 08 November 2010 04:50 AM

Bro. only prostitution not cannabis . Las Vegas Hip hip hure!!

    Jinn Monday, 08 November 2010 05:04 AM

ITS BETTER TO LEGALIZE IT......! AS ITS BETTER THAN ALCOHOL.

Ruhunu Puthra Monday, 08 November 2010 05:13 AM

    Invictusrilankan Monday, 08 November 2010 05:17 AM
