A total number of 45 corpses of those succumbed to COVID-19 have been buried so far, Army Commander Gen Shavendra Silva stated.
“The bodies were buried with the assistance of the Army at a high ground in the Ottamavadi area in Batticaloa, the Army Chief said.
Accordingly, he said the issue with regards to the burial of corona corpses has been resolved.
“Two or three more bodies remain and those will also be buried today or tomorrow,” he added.
