While the curfew is lifted in Collpetty, Wellawatte and Thimbrigasaya it doesn't make any sense in continuing the curfew in Bambalapitiya. Do they intend to cushion the impact by continuing the curfew there?

This decision comes too early. It has been done by unqualified politicians only for economic reasons. Many people will die in this country because the people will think the pandemic is over now. But every day more and more infections will come. The health system in Sri Lanka can not handle many Corona patients.

Good we need to restart. But with all the proposed restrictions which are no doubt desirable can any sensible person or group advocate planning for or holding a general election in May? Be sensible PLEASE not political.

The government should not rush into relaxing the curfew for the election preparations. Look at China and South Korea experiencing second wave of infection. Sri Lanka cannot afford such a wave. Let's not rush.

As an expat who is temporarily in lock down, I admire the way this control of Covid-19 has been handled by Sri Lanka. I am amused at the efforts of opposition parties to find fault with so many things. For once, let us unite to keep Sri Lanka safe for its children.

The Goverment will regret it,it is to early, many Sri Lankans will die.

Strict rules should be implemented for public transport.

Good to get on to the streets but seems to have a sinister move. Next will be that elections will be held on a certain date. No open campaigning allowed but the Pohottuwa candidates will start doorstep distribution of essentials along with printed material canvassing for votes by 'selling' the virus.

Sri Lanka should rescue citizens from Maldives and Bangladesh as a priority
