The son-in-law of a very high political authority had reportedly solicited a bribe of Rs. 100 million to clinch a sale of machinery of a factory that had been producing a sweet product to a company of a neighbouring country.
He had already obtained Rs. 20 million as an advance payment of the kickback, they say.
