Female doctor arrested over accident

A female doctor attached to the Wathupitiwala Hospital was arrested for an accident which occurred at Kongasdeniya Junction on the Colombo-Kandy Road, police said.
 
They said the car driven by the doctor had collided with a motorcycle which was travelling towards Kandy from Colombo.
 
The motorcyclist and the pillion rider were admitted to the Wathupitiwala Hospital with critical injuries, police said.
 
The suspect was produced in the Aththanagalla Magistrate court and remanded till July 22.

    i agree, It may be motorcyclist falut , you know how carelessly they ride. I have seen motorcyclist with 4 pillion riders mostly wife and two kids they overtake vehicles very carlessly.

    This is ridiculous. I have seen infants wrapped up and taken on motorcycles. The slightest loss in balance will be fatal. There should be strict laws to motorcycle safety and to protect car drivers. via DM iPad app
