Questions arise as to why he didn’t have the back bone to reveal these things then and there. But it’s worthwhile investigating his statements if some credible evidence could be unearthed.

In the first instant Mervyn should be arrested for withholding information on the murder of Lasantha!

Because of fools like these only the previous government also came to its last breaths now these people are trying to act as saints as if his son and his sons have been priests for the whole time

Good. All these people make loose statements and they must be held accountable. Next, get his son who says he suspects Gota about various things.

Desmond Jeromme Thursday, 26 March 2015 06:27 PM

Ok, if he is a genuine man, he should have come out with the facts long ago. Why now?

had he come out he would have been dead long ago.....use your brain.!

    Don Friday, 27 March 2015 02:19 PM

This is an example of how law was paralysed under MR regime. This man Mervyn the clown who publically said he knows who killed Lasantha is giving a statement ONLY now, since the law enforcement has been relieved of the paralysis by MR regime. Let the killers be caught even now!

    leel Friday, 27 March 2015 02:33 PM

at that time nobody to listen.

    Ganesha Friday, 27 March 2015 03:44 PM

If Dr Mervin had said it could have been accurate because he himself is the sort of and he was the pet of Rajapakses at a time

    cyril n Thursday, 26 March 2015 08:04 PM

Though there is no reason to have waited all this while, atleast at this late hour, if he provides credible information, which could ensure the murderers whoever he/they may be punished for having committed such a crime. The punishment of course should be a substantial one.
