A woman was killed and two others sustained injuries during an accident near the Nugaduwa colour lights near the Southern Expressway entrance.
Police said a lorry which was speeding from Akuressa crashed head on with a car which was approaching the Southern Expressway entrance.
The deceased has been identified as a 46-year-old female, a resident of Padinnoruwa in Wanchawala. The deceased was on board the lorry.
Both the drivers of the car and the lorry were admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital with injuries.
Galle Port Police are conducting further investigations into this accident.

Lorry was speeding and cops were looking at them and betting .... how far can they drive without killing someone !! This is Sri Lanka the wonder land which has absolutely no value on human life.
