Two WPC UPFA members join UNP

Two UPFA members of the Western Provincial Council (WPC) crossed over to the UNP when the council’s budget was taken up for debate today.

The two members who joined the UNP are Nauzer Fowzie and Keerthi Kariyawasam. They said the council’s ruling party had failed to create a better society. (Muditha Dayananda)
