Rohan Pallewatta, who contested the previous Presidential Election under the Social Democratic Party, called on Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa today and decided to continue his political activities with the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB).
The SJB said that Mr. Pallewatta will also be appointed to the Working Committee of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya and will be tasked to be a head of the SJB’s Foreign Policy and Foreign Trade Policy Development Council.
Pallewatta will also be a leading member of the SJB’s Professionals Association in addition to a Chief Adviser of the party.
