So the Law Professori who talks big as he is the authority on anything, and advises JO did not know this. So you can imagine the level of his advice.

Yes of course you have shown it by your record as Speaker.

Most biased snd unfair Speaker we ever had and it is sad day for democracy of the country

A completely correct decision. The SLFP members in the so-called Joint Opposition were elected to support their leader in his policies and not to act according to the dictates of a damped dictator, which is a betrayal of the voter and the party.

The moment they resigned to join SLPP to form a opposition to claim opposition leader post, they lost their MP seats. If you don't know the law of this country, ask our learned law Professor. So they are making a mockery of democracy by being both in Government and in opposition.

Then how did you get the power to appoint him, who represents only the Northern Tamils and nobody else.

So,why waited and wasted other's time and resources to say this at the end?Funny state of affairs

What a waste of parliamentary time and money over this matter. We send morons to Parliament and this is what happens to this country. In no other parliaments in this world such a lot of waste of time and money over such a silly problem.
