A total of 70 incidents of violence related to General Election had been reported from 7 a.m till 10 a.m today, the Centre for Monitoring Election Violence (CMEV) said.
They said 52 of those violent incidents were related to illegal campaigning.
The CMEV said the majority number of 15 incidents was reported from Kegalle and 10 incidents were reported from Galle.
