The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) yesterday handed over its set of twenty proposals to SLPP presidential candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa at the Opposition Leader’s official residence in Wijerama.
GMOA Assistant Secretary Dr. Naveen de Soyza told Daily Mirror that they would hand over the proposals to other presidential candidates as well and added that the proposals were based on sustainable development.

How is the money to be found by a government which is in heavy budget deficit and controlled by the IMF which will not allow any new or increased expenditure without accompanying taxation. High time these politicians stopped talking economic nonsense. Please send them to the university to learn economics of public finances.

Professionals in the developed countries are not entitled for special tax concessions. Those who want to leave country because of tax will realise soon that they have to pay bigger percentage from their remuneration as tax.
