Forcibly entering school: Reuters journalist remanded

Reuters foreign journalist Siddiqui Ahamad Danish was remanded by the Negombo Magistrate today for forcibly attempting to enter the Maris Stella College in Negombo, police said.

The school principal had informed the police that the journalist was attempting to forcibly enter into the school.

He was remanded till May 15.
