Essential outlets including pharmacies, sathosa, ‘co-operatives’ and other supermarkets in the curfew imposed areas are allowed to be opened from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm tomorrow, Police Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said the police curfew imposed in 19 police areas in the Gampaha District will continue.
He also instructed the people to follow necessary health precautions when leaving their homes.
He requested the people to restrict travel and said those who violate guidelines will be arrested.
Meanwhile, he said more than 140 people have been arrested as of today for violating curfew regulations.
