The former Chief Minister of the Northern Province, C. V. Wigneswaran, said that their future course of action would be decided according to the response to the 13 proposals put forward to the presidential candidates by the Tamil parties in the North.
These proposals had been forwarded to the presidential candidates by now.
He said that he would like to discuss face to face with these three candidates if they were going to reject these proposals.
In the meantime, the leaders of Tamil Eelam Liberation Organisation (TELO), People’s Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) Elam People’s Revolutionary Front (EPRLF), Ilankai Tamil Arasu Katchi have made arrangements to meet the presidential candidates.
It has been reported that they would back the candidate who agrees with their proposals. (Dayaseeli Liyanage)

You should add some more “one country, one nation, one law,and one leader”. This is what Adolf said in the 30s.

People who belong to minorities clearly understand what will happen to them under Rajapakse regime. This is not the time for racial bargaining.

Any of the presidential candidates will not support your proposals. Please try to understand the present situation the country is facing and the urgent need to elect a leader who will restore peace in this country for all communities without fear. After electing Hon. Sajith as President you may submit your proposal to him later.

Why elect Sajith? There are other candidates too. It's people's choice. Others will consider proposals if they are in tune with the government policies.

Who care his support,he talks only for his benefits. not for the people in Sri Lanka.
Common sense Monday, 28 October 2019 03:03 PM
This is the basic problem among the Sinhala people. They don't understand there are two languages, two cultures, mostly two religions, two areas where majority are one race. Don't bury your head in sand. See the the autonomy given to Scotland,England, Wales and Northern Ireland in a United Kingdom. Thus in SL there should be two states in one united SL. Grow upto Justice.

lack of common sense ( most probably living in the west and exploiting the benefit systems) put one's community in harm's way!
