The party leaders who met in parliament today have decided to take up the No-Confidence Motion (NCM) against the government on July 9 and 10 in parliament, Leader of the House, Lakshman Kiriella said yesterday.
Mr. Kiriella told Daily Mirror that the government proposed to take up the motion to debate on June 18 and 19 but the JVP wanted it taken up during the first week in July.
The NCM was submitted by the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) last month.
