UPFA MP Keheliya Rambukwella yesterday questioned about the seating of Muslim Ministers at the front row of the House despite claiming to function as backbench MPs.
He told parliament that the Muslim Ministers claimed on Monday that they would resign from their portfolios and function as backbench MPs but they were seated in the front row.
Deputy Chairman of Committees Selvam Adaikalanathan said the Presidential Secretariat had not informed the House about their resignation as yet.
Leader of the House Lakshman Kiriella said Muslim Ministers who were seated at the front row were party leaders and that there was no issue in their seating at the front row.
