More than 1,000 people belonging to 242 families from Bandaranayake Mawatha in Colombo 12, have been sent to quarantine centres, the Army said.
Accordingly, a total of 1,010 people would be sent to quarantine.
Army said the decision was taken after 57 Covid-19 patients were reported from the Bandaranayake Mawatha.
