The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has announced it will keep76 branches open for business on Monday, 12th September – a Public and Bank holiday in celebration of Id-Ul-Alha or Hadji Festival Day.
The Bank said its 30 Supermarket Banking Centres and 29 ‘365-day’ branches will work their customary hours on that day, while another 17 branches will be open from 9 am to 1 pm.
The 17 branches areWellawatte, Kolluptiya, Kotahena, Maharagama, Borella, Nugegoda, Narahenpita, Battaramulla, Panchikawatte, Union Place, Wattala, Dehiwala, Moratuwa, Avissawella,Piliyandala, the Foreign branch at Razik Fareed Mawatha and Main Street, Pettah.
The only Sri Lankan bank to be ranked among the Top 1000 banks of the world for six years consecutively, Commercial Bank operates a network of 251 branches and 638 ATMs in Sri Lanka.
The Bank has won multiple awards as Sri Lanka’s Best Bank, Best Trade Bank, Strongest Bank, Most Respected Bank from a number of local and international institutions and publications over several years and has also been adjudged one of Sri Lanka’s 10 best corporate citizens by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce for several years.
