This is amazing and the pot is becoming even more hotter! We have Chinese spies among construction workers, Indian RAW already checking on the Chinese, Russian KGB and now the Ukraine oil explorers. Looks like we are making the Americans and the western powers extremely nervous.
Roshan Thursday, 01 July 2010 05:55 AM
What happened to the contract with China and India for exploration of oil?
MaPer Thursday, 01 July 2010 05:48 AM

MaPer Thursday, 01 July 2010 05:48 AM
How many countries are going to be involved in oil exploration, off the coast of this tiny weeny Sri Lanka? First and foremost, is there really oil off our shores - or is this another bluff on the part of the government?

We have been looking for oil since the '70s & still no oil! Is it only 'talk'?
Diluka Wednesday, 30 June 2010 03:01 PM
As long as the Oil Exploration and eventually Extraction is done safely then Good. If it Leaks it will mess our Coastal areas and it can have devastating effects on the economy, Tourism(Beaches), Fishing, and our Fresh water ecosystems bound by the Lagoons etc.

What the relationship between Ukrainian and Russia like at present? It would serve Sri Lanka well if that relationship is strong and positive.
ajith Wednesday, 30 June 2010 11:23 AM
A hot slap to Norway for taking Srilanka for a ride in the name of peace.
