The govt. must realize that the war is not over yet, as far as the foreign powers and the Tamil diaspora are concerned.They are waiting to pounce on opportunities such as these to set their propaganda machinery working overtime. Immediate investigations should be conducted and seen to be conducted, and the culprits brought to book.

Only recently the president has said that terrorism will not be allowed to raise it's head again. However, the situation prevailing in Jaffna is deplorable. I am certain this would not be the case had the population in Jaffna been Sinhala. Prompt action would have been taken to bring about law and order in this part of the country for the long suffering populace.

This is the high time for the President to take action against any one who is really responsible and connected to all these incidents.Otherwise losing Jaffna or Northern Peninsula to thugs once for all. Kindly make the Jaffna population feel secure as they are suffering since 1974. If the action is delayed further, then achieved much deserved peace through a long war will be lost for ever
