UN is not playing fair. For equity to prevail they should be appointing a commision to investigate the 90K + documents recently leaked on NATO activities in Afganistan.

It appears to me that all are very bias comments. There are lot of mouths to look after the human rights of terrorists. Who will look after the human rights of thousands who got killed in bus bombs, train bombs, road side bombs, hotel bombs, central bank bomb, Maligawa bomb, Sri Maha bodhi bomb, Indian Air port bomb, in border villages. Forget about the billions worth of properties lost. Were those victims not innocent enough to talk about their rights or we are still worried about the rights of the terrorists??

Japan is a good friend of Sri Lanka. What they suggest is for the benefit of the country.
Calistus Jayatilleke Thursday, 29 July 2010 01:44 PM
Now, some patriot should demonstrate opposite the Japanese embassy too for this brazen interference in our internal matters!

There are 192 countries in the UN. I think Mr G.L. Peiris will get the same response from all of them.
