Victory day has turned to a Day of Disaster. Last year all celebrated in a big way, distributing kiribath for weeks, while some civilians were suffering in the IDP camps in the North, this year in the South distributing food, evacuating the displaced due to flood, which number seem more than that was in the North. What a contrast!! Be cautious in future!, as every action has a reaction!

Any action can come and will gone. But end of blood thirsty prabhakaran can't match those any action. It's always a blessing for this country (Reason to celebrate more than anything)..

This is mother nature which is unpredictable to any part of the world and it should be used for any personal or political reasons. The main thing is the country should be equipped to face these disasters.

I don't think people celebrated over the suffering in IDP camps, but the fact of ending a 30 year old leach from this country. They had all the right to do that. What's happening right now is a disaster due to improper or hasty "Development Projects" done by unqualified people, who have overlooked everything for MONEY.

This is the time we all must get together and assist the effected people. Mother nature is ruthless when we go again her. We have done so much damage to the environment without even knowing it. Many people are suffering without basic needs. Hope the authorities and officers will do the needful.
